Shenzhen, China — (Nov. 29th, 2022) —  the foundation ceremony of Sunway's new production base was held in Xinqiao Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen in the presence of Sunway's top management and local government representatives. 

The Bao'an district is also where Sunway was founded in 2006. This year, i.e. 16 years later, Sunway successfully acquired land for the project "R&D and Production Base of 5G RF Systems with Liquid Crystal Polymers". The project covers an area of 59,400 square meters, with a total construction area of 252,400 square meters. It is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2025, with an annual output value of more than 20 billion yuan when reaching its capacity.

The project construction includes production workshops, R&D centers, staff facilities and other supporting facilities. The buildings adopt space multi-functionailty to improve space efficiency. It will create a comfortable and efficient production and living environment through the superposition of rest and green spaces, creating a high-tech R&D and production park.

Sunway has been focusing on R&D, production and sales of various electronic components and modules related to RF (Radio Frequency) since its establishment. The products include antennas and modules, wireless charging modules, EMC/EMI devices, high-precision connectors, automotive interconnection products, passive components, etc. The product applications include consumer electronics, automotive, IoT/smart homes and communication infrastructure.
